Jordan Christensen



Jordan Christensen played on the Hitmen team from 9-13 years old. After the 1999 National Championship game, Jordan was named to the All-Tournament team.

He is attending Sherrard High School and has played football, basketball, and baseball all four years. He was the quarterback and free safety on his football team and this past season was their Captain and helped his team to an Olympic conference Championship and a perfect regular season record of 9-0. He was awarded the team sportsmanship award and was selected as honorable mention on the Area Football All-Stars by the Argus/Dispatch.

He has been a shooting guard and forward on the basketball team and also won the team sportsmanship award this year.

Jordan has been a four year varsity player on the baseball team and primarily pitches and plays right field. In 2004 (sophomore) he was named honorable mention on the Area Baseball All-Stars by the Argus/Dispatch. In 2005 (junior) he was named first team All-Olympic conference and first team Area Baseball All-Stars.

Between athletics and academics Jordan has earned 12 Varsity Letters. He will graduate Valedictorian of his 2006 graduating class and received Honorable Mention on the IHSA All-State Academic Team. He will go on to study Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois @ Urbana/Champaign.
