March Board Meeting
The March board meeting will be held on Monday, the 1st
at the Coal Valley Happy Joe's. It'll start at 6:30! We
encourage all of you to come out and see what part you can
play to make Hitmen baseball the best it can be.
Photos Needed for Opening Day!
As part of the 20th Anniversary celebration at Opening Day
on March 21st, we are asking Hitmen families, past and present,
to send in pictures for a DVD to be used at our Opening Day.
They may be sent to Shawn Powers; his email address is
dmspowers@sbcglobal.net.
Photos can also be mailed to the PO Box but they need to be
labeled as to how to return them. Thanks!!
Hitmen Classic Shirt Pre-Order Now Available
As we did last year, tournament shirts for our 2010 Hitmen
Classic are now available via pre-order. The deadline for
ordering shirts is April 15. There will be a very small number
of shirts available the weekend of the tournament, so we do
encourage you to take advantage of the pre-order. Please CLICK

Hitmen Apparel is available online!
Just in time for your Christmas shopping (sneaks up on ya,
don't it?!), all of your favorite Hitmen apparel can now
be purchased online by simply clicking

Payment needs to be made at the time of your order online by using either a credit card or a debit card. Apparel can either be picked up individually, team liasions could pick up the entire order for your team, or there is an option for you to have it delivered to you for a fee.
IMPORTANT - ALL orders have to be placed by November 16th to be ready in time for Christmas! Anything after that date will NOT be guaranteed for Christmas delivery. DON'T DELAY - SHOP NOW!
Calling All Hitmen Alumni!
At our annual Opening Day, to be held on Sunday, March 21st 2010 at the Milan Community Center, we will be celebrating our 20th year of youth baseball. We would greatly encourage any and all Hitmen alumni to attend. A video of past teams and players will be shown. It promises to be a great event. Stay tuned for more information, and be sure to spread the word!

Hitmen Teams win the Clubs 5th and 6th National Championships
Congratulations go out to our U9 and U14 teams for winning their respective Nationals, culminating in the clubs 5th and 6th National Championships! The U9 team were victorious up in Crystal Lake, IL, while the U14 squad brought the hardware home from Omaha, NE. Good job guys!
U8 Club Brings Home State Championship!
Congratulations to our U8 Hitmen squad, who battled their
way to a State Championship in Naperville, IL this last July!
You've made us all proud.
Tryouts Complete
While our tryout period is now complete, coaches may still
be looking to add a player or two. Any questions may be directed
to the Manager's of next years teams. The age group of the
player is determined by their age on May 1, 2010. The contact

If you missed your scheduled try-out date you may go to any
of the other times or contact a Manager to set up an individual
try-out.

Hitmen Trio Recognized for Excellence
on Field
Austin Suhr, Payton Isaccson and Zach Adrian have been selected
to play on the elite Chicago Susquehanna Stars Cooperstown
All Star Team for the upcoming season. The trio are three
of 12 players selected to play on this elite All Star Team
assembled from a 5 state (IL, WI, IA, IN, PA) region to compete
Cooperstown, New York against the finest 12 year old baseball
teams from around the country. The Stars program is in its
twelfth year and along with our counterparts, the former Susquehanna
River Raiders have combined to win the Cooperstown Dreams
Park Tournament 3 times, including last year. Congratulations
guys!

2009 Hitmen Classic in the books
We would like to thank all of the team's that competed in
the recently completed 2009 Hitmen Classic tournament! We
would also like to thank our parents who stepped up to volunteer
at the gate, prepping the fields or selling shirts. Way to
go!
